Meon Lite 1.2 – a nice colorful puzzle game for Windows Mobile
I came across this gem today in the Windows Mobile Marketplace. Meon Lite is the free version of Meon which is an nice and colorful puzzle game for Windows Mobile. The game revolves around the idea of freeing the Meons by directing light from the light source to these funny looking things called Meons ( which according to the Storyline in the game were discovered by Professor Tagishaki, from Tokyo Quantum Mechanics Mecanics institute in 1977 ).
Well here is what you should know. The game runs you through a quick tutorial on how to play. You can always go back to it from the Main Menu. There are a few different units in the game.
This little guy is the LightSource ( a.k.a Green Meon ) you can moves these guys. They emit a continuous beam of light and your goal is to hit the other Meons with the light.
These Meons are trapped and can only be free if a matching colored light beam hits them. Hit them with the wrong beam and it looks like they get hurt.
Splitter Tool allow you to split the light beam in to 2 so you can free 2 meons with a single light source.
Mirrors are used to change the direction of the light beam
Prism helps you to split the light beam in to different colored beams so you can free colored Meons using them.
Colored Brick can be used to change the color of the beam to the color of the brick and as you would have guessed by now it comes in 3 different colors.

The game start off with quite easy levels and when you reach level 10 there is a different background , a quick look at the walkthrough told me there are 5 different background in the game. ( oh yes there is a walkthrough if at any point of time you are not able to move fwd in the game ). You get an option to pause after each level, which is turned off by default and should stay that way;). The gameplay is quite nice, you drag the various objects to complete the objective. The whole game is quite colorful, which was nice. To me the graphics in the game were ok, it could have been a lot better with some better rendered images. One major problem I have with this is there is no background music, a good background music would have done wonders to the gaming experience. Having said that I will still strongly recommend this game to everyone who is looking for a good casual game on your windows Mobile device.

Windows Mobile Game : Meon Lite
The only diffrence between the Full and Lite version is that the full version has 120 levels while the Lite version is limited to 32. Meon is $2.99 in the Windows Mobile Marketplace and $5.95 from the developers site. And Meon Lite is free so downloading that and giving it a whirl is a no brainer.

I liked this game meon 1.2 puzzle game and will play on my mobile but first let me have more memory space on my cell phone
