PocketLava is presented as a relaxation app, a novelty program that is designed to simulate a lava lamp. The donation version that was tested, it allows one to manipulate preferences such as the size of the wax bubbles, the number of bubbles, the viscosity of the lamp liquid, and the colors of both wax and liquid. A limited-feature free version is also available.

Pros :
- simulated physics are good
- can change preferences of color and “physics” prior to running the simulation
Cons :
- Novelty of program wears off after a short time
- Can’t interact with the program while it’s running
Possible Improvements :
- Ability to interact with “lava” on touchscreen
- Integration with device accelerometer and simulated liquid/wax
