Mexico dice is a game with quite some variations, some of the basic rules are the same amongst various forms like this or the drinking variation of the game. Now a developer has created this game for windows phone users with this simple app.

It looks like the developer has taken into account the numerous form of the game and has included a tutorial to help the users learn the basics of the game. For those who dont like to go through the in game tutorial here is a quick look at the basics. The game is played with 2 dice ( or your windows phone with the Mexico App ) and any number of players each with a set amount of points. Shake the device and the dice are rolled for you, this is assuming your device has an accelerometer , if it doesn’t you have to activate the Easy Shake option from the Menu or use the softkey to roll the dice. Now you have to pass the dice over to the next player ( the app offers an nice way to cover the dice so the player cannot see the numbers you have rolled, slide your finger from the bottom to the top of the screen to uncover the dice you have thrown and sliding from top to bottom will hide the dice ) and state the numbers you have thrown. ( you can say the truth or you can lie )

The 2 number you have thrown gets converted to a 2 digit number. Say you have rolled 2 and 4 so the number you have thrown is 42 and say you have 6 and 2 then your number is 62. They key here is that the larger digit always takes the tens place. So you will not get 13 but will have 31 for the 2 digits 1 and 3 on your dice. Now the second player have two option

1. they have to throw the dice and get a value which is more than what you have claimed OR
2. they have to call you out on your bluff, if they get it right you lose a point else they lose it

The order of numbers in increasing order are
31,32,41,42,43,51,52,53,54,61,62,63,64,65,11,22,33,44,55,66,21

so 21 is the best number you can get and have guess at what its called ? Of course its Mexico !!

   Nice, now you only need to bring alcohol because it's a drinking game! Every time someone looses he has to drink a shot ^^
