Co0kie’s Home Tab (CHT) is one of the best and one of the most popular replacement for the original HTC Sense home tab. This modification is only compatible with Windows Mobile devices with the Sense User Interface from HTC. Further it works exclusively with the Sense version 2.5. To manage the settings of this mod it is necessary to install the CHT-Editor.

Barcorama 0.8a – barcode reader software for Windows Mobile

NOTE : This app is under development and a test build of the app was put under review. A new version 0.9h is available that might address some of the issues. The app was tested on an HD2 which is a rather new device and the app is a bit old, so it might work better with some older devices.

Barcorama is a simple freeware application for Windows Mobile devices developed by the xda-developers user hypest. The application is still in development stage but it is possible to test the alpha-version of the program. This software is based on the ZXing barcode reader software which is an open-source, multi-format 1D/2D barcode image processing library. This library includes all common barcodes like UPC-A, UPC-E , EAN-8 and EAN-13.

Flix 1.0.9.5 – check movie timing and details on windows mobile phone

Flix is a nice little app for checking out local cinema times and info. It’s got some nice features like auto-sending texts about films and finding your location via GPS. It downloads information about the nearest cinemas and the films that are shown at them including a picture of the film’s poster, a plot summary and a cast list. With a click of a button, it will call the cinema of your choice or bring up Google maps (the app, not the website) and show you how to get there. It’s still a bit buggy and even crashed a couple of times during my video review, but despite this, it’s still a nice handy little app.

What does one do with an app that simply put – just makes some noise? Be it a simple bell or a buzzer – right up to a nuclear explosion (complete with countdowns to aid your escape!) this application comes with many options for different kinds of sound effects. Some of them sound repetitive – like the buzzer and the double buzzer (What is it that you can do with TWO buzzers that you cannot do with ONE?).
