With a beautiful and simple interface alongside easy gameplay, Resco Sudoku Touch is a joy to use and is a definite must have for Sudoku fans. There are an almost unlimited number of levels to play over four types of difficulty, you can even create your own Sudoku challenge from scratch and being able to change the background can give the game a new feel if you want a change every now and then. The UI is elegant and easy to understand. I’m not really a big Sudoku person, but using this has made it much easier to the point where I have joined the masses who try to do a Sudoku puzzle before going to sleep each night. The only negative thing is that despite having nice graphics they do look slightly pixelated, as if they were made for a lower resolution screen ( this was on a WVGA screen , YMMV)

This app nearly blew me away. It was much more than I expected. When I downloaded it, I thought it would just be another file explorer but I was wrong. It’s a file explorer, a task manager, a registry editor and a today plugin, all in one package.

I recently came across this amazing app on the Windows Mobile Marketplace. The 5001 Amazing Facts Lite app has got a great User Interface. Its is not one of those app that looks like it was quickly put together and put on the marketplace. The devs have created an elegant and intuitive UI for the app that is a treat to use. We hope more developers follow this example and create more apps with such great UI.

MobiPDFScanner – images to PDF on windows phone

MobiPDFScanner is a very useful app which has a bunch of uses. It can be used for archiving old documents when you don’t want the paper copies lying around, for sending a bunch of images to someone over the internet or just to help keep some photos organized. The interface is fantastic with large buttons & smooth animation & the speed of the app is quite good too. It has the ability to send the PDF files you make via email straight from the app meaning you can send it to others or yourself in a few clicks. It’s a very slick app & the multitude of devices it supports is highly impressive. It’s definitely impressed me.
